Cooking With Biker Chics

A Collection of Recipes & More from Debra Thompson (with Jackie Tangen)

"No one hates the inside of a house more than the leather-wearing, highwayloving biker chic from Lopez Island known as the 'Junkyard Mama.'" Skagit Valley Herald

Here's the first cookbook ever written that gets you out of the kitchen and onto the open road. Debra Thompson, who would rather be roaring down the road on her Harley-Davidson than sweating over a stove, has written the perfect book for anyone who feels the same way.

Cooking With Biker Chics gathers over 200 delicious and easy-to-prepare recipes for everything from main meals and breads to desserts, salads, appetizers, and drinks. It’s full of great time-saving recipes, humorous observations, Deb’s personal adventures, and practical tips like the right way to pack saddle bags to carry enough gear for a week-long road trip.

Click Recipes to see sample recipes such as “Runnin' with the Devil,” “Road Kill Rice,” and “Easy Sleazy Potato Soup.” All of the dishes in Cooking With Biker Chics use common ingredients and are simple to prepare. Most important, they've all been taste-tested by bikers and their families across the United States and found to be delicious!

Debra Thompson, who earned her nickname “Junkyard Mama” when she and a team turned a roller coaster cart into a drag boat on TV’s “Junkyard Wars,” believes Cooking With Biker Chics will make life easier so you can get on with the fun stuff in life. It’s a great gift, perfect for frying pan veterans or someone who’s just learning how to boil water. Know someone who enjoys collecting cookbooks?
